Contracted Power definition

Contracted Power means the power in MW which the transmission licensee has agreed to carry or is required to carry as per allocation from the generating stations or the long-term agreement between the importing and exporting utility.

Contracted Power means the power in MW which the transmission licensee has agreed to carry for the customer as per transmission service agreements or otherwise.

• The Company assessed its businesses and operating segments and determined to combine these two businesses into one reportable segment covering the Company’s long-term Contracted Power and Energy segment, which the Company believes better reflects how these businesses are managed and allocated capital.

• All Contracted Power Products delivered by the Company shall meet the frequency, voltage and other quality requirements of the receiving Transmission Provider at the Power Delivery Point.

• The recipient utility shall apply to NRLDC for grant of Short Term Open Access three months in advance from the scheduled date of commencement of power by the supplying utility for 85% of the Contracted Power; and For remaining 15% of the Contracted Power, the supplying utility shall schedule the same to the recipient utility to the extent available with it on day ahead basis with the consent of recipient utility.
