Examples of Coupon Period in a sentence
Default Event (as defined in the section “Conditions of the Securities – Product Terms Part 1: Key Terms and Definitions of the Securities”) has occurred in relation to this Coupon Period.
If the rate at which interest or coupon accrues on the Securities during the applicable Interest Period or Floating Rate Coupon Period, as the case may be, on any day or for any Interest Period or Floating Rate Coupon Period, as the case may be, or in respect of any interest determination date, declines to zero or becomes negative, no interest or coupon will be payable on the Securities with respect to that Interest Period or Floating Rate Coupon Period or the relevant payment date, as the case may be.
If the Agent Bank is unable or unwilling to continue to act as the Agent Bank or (without prejudice to Condition 5(g) above) fails duly to determine the Floating Coupon Rate in respect of any Coupon Period as provided in Condition 5(d), the Issuer shall forthwith appoint another leading investment, merchant or commercial bank in London approved in writing by the Trustee to act as such in its place.
On a bankruptcy of the Issuer, each Security shall entitle the holder thereof to claim for an amount equal to the principal amount of such Security plus all accrued but unpaid interest in respect of the then current Coupon Period and Outstanding Payments, if any, subject to Condition 2.
If not redeemed or purchased and cancelled earlier, the Securities will be redeemed on the Maturity Date at their principal amount together with accrued interest in respect of the Coupon Period ending on (but excluding) the Maturity Date.
