Covered Entities definition

Covered Entities have the meanings stated in Section 1(a) of the Parent Support Agreement.
Covered Entities means residents of Kitsap County, including individuals living in single and multiple family residences and other residential settings, and including other nonbusiness sources of prescription and nonprescription drugs that are unused, unwanted, disposed of or abandoned by residents as identified by the Health Officer. "Covered entities" does not include business generators of pharmaceutical waste, such as hospitals, clinics, doctor's offices, veterinarian clinics, pharmacies, or airport security and law enforcement drug seizures.
Covered Entities means health plans and health care service plans which have contracted with Company.

  • The additional requirements of Subtitle D of the HITECH Act contained in Public Law 111-5 that relate to privacy and that are made applicable with respect to Covered Entities shall also be applicable to BA and are incorporated into this BAA.

More Definitions of Covered Entities

Covered Entities means, collectively, (a) Holdings and its Subsidiaries and all guarantors and all pledgors of Collateral and (b) each Person that, directly or indirectly, is in control of a Person described in clause (a) above. For purposes of this definition, control of a Person shall mean the direct or indirect (x) ownership of, or power to vote, 25% or more of the issued and outstanding equity interests having ordinary voting power for the election of directors of such Person or other Persons performing similar functions for such Person, or (y) power to direct or cause the direction of the management and policies of such Person whether by ownership of equity interests, contract or otherwise.
Covered Entities means, collectively, the Restricted Entities and such other entities as may from time to time be reasonably agreed to by the Company and the Executive to be Covered Entities hereunder.
