COVERED PART definition

COVERED PART. Means any part or component of the VEHICLE that is not specifically excluded from COVERAGE under this CONTRACT (see section B. titled “COVERAGE Description”).
COVERED PART means an item listed as a Covered Part, based on the coverage You selected, as defined in the section titled “Covered Parts”. • Covered Breakdown, Breakdown, or Mechanical Breakdown means the event caused by the total failure of any Covered Part to work as it was designed to work in normal service. Breakdown or Mechanical Breakdown does not include gradual reduction in operating performance or failure resulting from wear and tear or ordinary use.
COVERED PART means that part or parts of a covered vehicle which we have agreed to cover in the coverage plan that applies to the covered vehicle shown on the declarations page and which is not specifically excluded in the section "What is Not Covered and Non-Covered Parts".

Examples of COVERED PART in a sentence

  • Refrigerant only if needed in conjunction with the repair of a Covered Part.

  • Transmission cases, housings, and transmission oil pan are covered only if damaged by the failure of an Internal Lubricated Covered Part.

  • BREAKDOWN/MECHANICAL BREAKDOWN: The failure of a Covered Part under normal service due to defects in material or workmanship.

  • In the event that the Breakdown of a Covered Part by this Agreement occurs more than one hundred (100) miles from Your home and results in a Repair Facility keeping Your Vehicle overnight, We will reimburse You up to seventy-five dollars ($75.00) per day for a maximum of three (3) days for receipted lodging and restaurant expenses incurred between the date of the Breakdown and the date on which the repairs are completed.

  • Drive axle housing is covered only if damaged by the failure of an Internal Lubricated Covered Part.


More Definitions of COVERED PART

COVERED PART. Means any part or component of the VEHICLE that is listed as covered in Section B of this CONTRACT titled “THESE PARTS ARE COVERED” and not specifically excluded from COVERAGE under this CONTRACT.
COVERED PART. Means any part or component of the VEHICLE that is not specifically excluded fromCOVERAGE under this CONTRACT (see section B. titled “COVERAGE Description”).
COVERED PART. The eligible parts listed in the Schedule of Coverages section of this Agreement. The listed parts must be factory installed equipment on Your Vehicle or replacement parts meeting the manufacturer’s specifications. DEDUCTIBLE: The amount indicated on the Schedule Page that You must pay for the repair of a Breakdown. A Deductible does not apply to roadside assistance, substitute transportation, or trip interruption coverage. $100 DEDUCTIBLE WILL APPLY IF NO DEDUCTIBLE IS NOTED. DISAPPEARING DEDUCTIBLE: If this option is selected on the Schedule Page, Your Deductible is waived in its entirety if You return to the original Seller listed on Your Agreement for repair of a Breakdown.
COVERED PART means an item listed as a Covered Part in the applicable “Coverage” sections above.
COVERED PART means any of the following parts:
