Covered Part definition
Covered Part means an item listed as a Covered Part, based on the coverage You selected, as defined in the section titled “Covered Parts”. • Covered Breakdown, Breakdown, or Mechanical Breakdown means the event caused by the total failure of any Covered Part to work as it was designed to work in normal service. Breakdown or Mechanical Breakdown does not include gradual reduction in operating performance or failure resulting from wear and tear or ordinary use.
Covered Part. The eligible parts listed in the Schedule of Coverages section of this Agreement. The listed parts must be factory installed equipment on Your Vehicle or replacement parts meeting the manufacturer’s specifications. DEDUCTIBLE: The amount indicated on the Schedule Page that You must pay for the repair of a Breakdown. A Deductible does not apply to roadside assistance, substitute transportation, or trip interruption coverage. $100 DEDUCTIBLE WILL APPLY IF NO DEDUCTIBLE IS NOTED. DISAPPEARING DEDUCTIBLE: If this option is selected on the Schedule Page, Your Deductible is waived in its entirety if You return to the original Seller listed on Your Agreement for repair of a Breakdown.
Covered Part. Means any part or component of the VEHICLE that is not specifically excluded from COVERAGE under this CONTRACT (see section B. titled “COVERAGE Description”).

Seals and gaskets are only covered when required in connection with the replacement of a Covered Part.
A Covered Part has failed when it can no longer perform the function for which it was designed solely because of its condition.
In the event You selected and purchased the Consequential Loss Coverage option, as shown on the Declaration Page of this Agreement, We will provide coverage for the repair of a Covered Part if the failure of the Covered Part was caused by the action or inaction of a non-covered part.
Breakdown means the failure of a Covered Part under normal service due to defects in material and workmanship.

ORIGINAL SCHEDULED TERMINATION DATE - means the date YOUR FINANCE AGREEMENT terminates as set forth in the original FINANCE AGREEMENT signed by YOU. SERVICE CONTRACT PROVIDER, WE, US, AND OUR (OBLIGOR) means Ownershield, Inc. P.O. Box 852770 Richardson, TX 75085 (855-292-9309). For CA, OR, WA, WI Service Contract Provider means Independent Dealer Group, Inc. P.O. Box 852770 Richardson, TX 75085 (855-292-9309). TERM – The maximum number of months indicated on the Declarations Page that this Agreement shall be in force. VEHICLE – The vehicle covered by the terms and conditions of this Agreement as listed on the Declarations Page. YOU, YOUR – The purchaser(s) of this Agreement.
Covered Part means a part included under “Coverage” in Section
