Currency Unit definition

Currency Unit or "CURRENCY UNITS" shall mean any composite currency.
Currency Unit for all purposes of this Indenture shall include any composite currency, including, without limitation, ECU.
Currency Unit means a composite currency or currency unit the value of which is determined by reference to the value of the currencies of any group of countries.

Examples of Currency Unit in a sentence

  • The Custodian shall not be obligated to substitute another Currency for a Currency (including a Currency that is a component of a Composite Currency Unit) whose transferability, convertibility or availability has been affected by such law, regulation, rule or procedure.

  • The Dollar amount to be paid by the Company to the Trustee and by the Trustee or any Paying Agent to the Holders of such Debt Securities with respect to such payment date shall be the Dollar Equivalent of the Foreign Currency or, in the case of a Currency unit, the Dollar Equivalent of the Currency Unit, in each case as determined by the Currency Determination Agent, if any, or, if there shall not be a Currency Determination Agent, then by the Trustee, in the manner provided in paragraph (f) or (g) below.

  • Without prejudice and in addition to any method of conversion or rounding prescribed by the EMU Legislation, each reference in this Agreement to a minimum amount (or a multiple thereof) in a National Currency Unit to be paid to or by the Administrative Agent shall be replaced by a reference to such reasonably comparable and convenient amount (or a multiple thereof) in the Euro Unit as the Administrative Agent may from time to time specify.

  • If and to the extent that any EMU Legislation provides that an amount denominated either in the Euro or in the National Currency Unit of a Participating Member State and payable within the Participating Member State by crediting an account of the creditor can be paid by the debtor either in the Euro Unit or in that National Currency Unit, any party to this Agreement shall be entitled to pay such amount either in the Euro Unit or in such National Currency Unit.
