Daily discharge definition
Daily discharge means the discharge of a pollutant measured during a calendar day or any 24-hour period that reasonably represents the calendar day for purposes of sampling. For pollutants with limitations expressed in units of mass, the "daily discharge" is calculated as the total mass of the pollutant discharged over the day. For pollutants with limitations expressed in other units of measurement, the "daily discharge" is calculated as the average measurement of the pollutant over the day.
Daily discharge means the discharge of a pollutant measured during a calendar day or any 24-hour period that reasonably represents the calendar day for purposes of sampling.
Daily discharge means the total mass of a pollutant discharged during the calendar day or, in the case of a pollutant limited in terms other than mass pursuant to 327 IAC 5-2-11(e), the average concentration or other measurement of the pollutant specified over the calendar day or any twenty-four hour period that reasonably represents the calendar day for the purposes of sampling.
Examples of Daily discharge in a sentence
The percent removal for each day shall be calculated according to the following equation: Daily discharge percent removal = the influent concentration minus the effluent concentration, divided by the influent concentration, multiplied by 100.
Daily discharge data are required for calibration and simulation with the variable flow Meander Migration model.
More Definitions of Daily discharge
Daily discharge means the discharge of a pollutant measured during a calendar day or any 24-hour period that reasonably represents the calendar day for purposes of sampling. Mass Calculations: For pollutants with limitations expressed in terms of mass, the “daily discharge” is calculated as the total mass of pollutant discharged over the sampling day. Concentration Calculations: For pollutants with limitations expressed in other units of measurement, determination of concentration made using a composite sample shall be the concentration of the composite sample. When grab samples are used, the “daily discharge” determination of concentration shall be the arithmetic average (weighted by flow value) of all the samples collected during that sampling day by using the following formula: where C= daily concentration, F=daily flow and n=number of daily samples
Daily discharge means the discharge of a pollutant measured during a calendar day or any 24-hour period that reasonably represents the calendar day for purposes of sampling. For pollutants with limitations expressed in units of mass,
Daily discharge means the discharge of a pollutant measured during a calendar day or any
Daily discharge means the discharge of a pollutant measured during any consecutive 24-hour period in accordance with the sample type and analytical methodology specified by the discharge permit.
Daily discharge. - means the discharge of a pollutant measured during a calendar day or any 24 hour period that reasonably represents the calendar day for the purpose of sampling. The daily discharge may be based on a composite or grab sample or on continuously recorded data, depending on the pollutant parameter.
Daily discharge means the discharge of a pollutant measured during a calendar
Daily discharge means the discharge of a parameter (or pollutant) measured during a calendar day (or any 24-hour period that reasonably represents the calendar day for purposes of sampling). For parameters with limitations expressed in units of mass, the daily discharge is calculated as the total mass of
