Dam Safety Plan definition

Dam Safety Plan means Andhra Pradesh’s plan dated December 26, 2007 for carrying out rehabilitation and modernization of existing dams under the Project (as described in the Loan Agreement) to be developed based on a dam safety assessment and reviewed and cleared by an independent dam safety review panel constituted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Dam Safety Plan means the following plans and report prepared by the the Prefecture, all dated March 15, 2010 which set out measures for safety of Dams, as the same may be amended or supplemented from time to time with the prior written agreement of the Bank: Operation, Maintenance and Surveillance Plan; Emergency Preparedness Plan; Construction, Supervision and Quality Enhancement Plan; Instrumentation Plan; and Dam safety report.
Dam Safety Plan means: (a) the safety inspection report for Kotri Barrage; and
Dam Safety Plan means a plan, program or system (by whatever name it is identified and in whatever format it is prepared) that conforms to dam engineering and safety assessment practices as set out in Applicable Laws, including the Water Act and British Columbia Dam Safety Regulations, and requirements and expectations of the Water Comptroller including to the extent applicable the principles of the Canadian Dam Association’s Dam Safety Guidelines, as may be amended or replaced from time to time, including any existing or future requirement to prepare, and to file with regulatory authorities as and when required any operational or dam safety management details such as: (i) an operating, maintenance and surveillance manual (ii) an annual dam safety report, (iii) annual pro-forma reports and compliance forms, (iv) an annual instrumentation plan, (v) emergency response plans, and (vi) periodic third party dam safety reviews. Such plan or system shall be designed for assuring the safety and operational integrity of the Wxxxxx Plant throughout the range of operating conditions (including emergency conditions), to reduce or otherwise manage the risk of uncontrolled release of water associated with the Wxxxxx Plant.
Dam Safety Plan means the plan dated January 7, 2005, prepared by Maharashtra and describing a program for ensuring the safety of all existing dams within the Project area, (which contains inter alia a series of measures to ensure that all works executed on dams during the course of the Project are undertaken after proper planning and review and are properly supervised; that adequate quality assurance measures are taken; and satisfactory implementation, and dam operation and maintenance);
Dam Safety Plan means the plan dated March 1, 2002, prepared by Karnataka and furnished to the Association to ensure safety of tanks and related structures in the Project Area, with and referred to in paragraph 8 of Schedule 2 to the Project Agreement;
Dam Safety Plan means the plan to be prepared and adopted by Sichuan or Gansu for each Sub-project that involves the construction, repair, or rehabilitation of dams as such Plan may be required pursuant to the Environmental and Social Screening and Assessment Framework, such plan to set out, inter alia, the policies, procedures, mechanisms and actions for carrying out the necessary remedial works, including establishing a panel of experts and carrying out inspection and evaluation of the safety status of any dam located upstream of such dam that rely on the performance of such upstream dam and carrying out remedial works for such upstream dam as necessary.
Dam Safety Plan means the plan to be prepared by the Project Executing Entity in accordance with Section I.C.12 of the Schedule to the Project Agreement.
