Data Protection Rules definition

Data Protection Rules means the relevant national laws that apply to the Processing of Personal Data in Data Protection Countries, including but not limited to any applicable privacy and information security laws and regulations that apply from time to time;
Data Protection Rules means all applicable data protection, privacy and electronic marketing legislation, statutes and regulations;
Data Protection Rules means collectively all data protection, data security and data privacy requirements imposed by law, including, the Data Protection Act 2018 or other national legislation implementing or replacing the EU Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC, Directive 97/66/EC concerning the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the telecommunications sector, Directive 2002/58/EC concerning the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, the General Data Protection Regulation and all legislation that implements or is enacted in connection with the General Data Protection Regulation and other data protection or privacy legislation in force from time to time in any relevant jurisdiction which is applicable to the provision of services under the Agreement, together with any similar provisions of the Card Scheme Rules, including the Data Security Standards and any regulation and regulatory guidance issued by a competent data protection authority.

  • Without prejudice to the rights or remedies available to Data Subjects under Data Protection Rules, the liability of the Parties and the limitation thereof, including any claim brought by an Affiliate, shall be in accordance with the Agreement.

  • Firmex shall provide Subscriber with the information to reasonably assist Subscriber as required by Data Protection Rules.

  • Subscriber agrees that it has obtained all relevant consents, permissions and rights and provided all relevant notices necessary under Data Protection Rules for Firmex to lawfully process Data as an independent “controller” and/or “business” (as such terms are defined under Data Protection Rules) for Firmex’s Business Operations.

Data Protection Rules means Data Protection Act 2018 and any other related applicable law and regulation.

(a) You shall, in relation to the provision of Card Services, comply with all applicable Data Protection Rules as they apply to you in your role as data controller. The terms “processing”, “controller” and “processor” shall have the meaning ascribed to them by the Data Protection Rules. (b) You are the controller, and CARDPAY AA is the processor, in relation to processing of Transaction-related personal data in connection with the provision of Card Services. The data processing activities carried out by CARDPAY AA are as follows: A. Subject matter of processing: Personal data is processed for the purpose of providing Card Services under this Agreement.
