Date of Separation definition

Date of Separation means, with respect to a Participant, the date on which a Participant incurs a termination of employment.
Date of Separation means the earlier of: (a) the date an Employee's employment with the Companies terminates by reason of a quit, discharge, retirement (including disability retirement) or death; or (b) the first anniversary of the first date of a period in which the Employee remains absent from active employment with the Companies for some reason other than a quit, discharge, retirement, death, approved leave of absence or military service.
Date of Separation means, with respect to a Participant, the date on which a Participant incurs a termination of employment that is a “separation from service” within the meaning of Section 409A of the Code.

Examples of Date of Separation in a sentence

  • If Section669.003 applies, Vendor will complete the following information in order for the response to be evaluated: Name of Former Executive, Name of State Agency, Date of Separation for State Agency, Position with Vendor, and Date of Employment with Vendor.

  • If Section 669.003 applies, Vendor will complete the following information in order for the response to be evaluated: Name of Former Executive, Name of State Agency, Date of Separation for State Agency, Position with Vendor, and Date of Employment with Vendor.

  • If the Executive’s employment is terminated due to Disability, the Executive will receive the Executive’s Base Salary through the Date of Separation from Service, and the Executive’s benefits will be determined in accordance with the Company’s disability, retirement, survivor’s benefits, insurance and other applicable plans and programs then in effect.

  • All decisions regarding the use of wheelchairs in the school bus must be made by an IEP team that includes qualified personnel and the parent and should be noted on the IEP.


More Definitions of Date of Separation

Date of Separation means the date the married parents ceased to cohabit.
Date of Separation means the date on which the individual was laid off or otherwise separated from employment, so as to make the individual a dislocated employee.
