Debt Service Reduction definition

Debt Service Reduction. With respect to any Mortgage Loan, a reduction in the scheduled Monthly Payment for such Mortgage Loan by a court of competent jurisdiction in a proceeding under the Bankruptcy Code, except such a reduction resulting from a Deficient Valuation.

Examples of Debt Service Reduction in a sentence

  • Prior to each Distribution Date, the Master Servicer shall determine the total amount of Realized Losses, if any, that resulted from any Cash Liquidation, Debt Service Reduction, Deficient Valuation or REO Disposition that occurred during the related Prepayment Period.

Debt Service Reduction. Any reduction of the Monthly Payments which a Mortgagor is obligated to pay with respect to a Mortgage Loan as a result of any proceeding under the Bankruptcy Code or any other similar state law or other proceeding.
