DEFINITION OF TERMS. Education Corporation: as defined further herein, a New York, not-for-profit, charter school education corporation that comes into existence through the issuance of a charter and the formation of a corporation pursuant to Article 56 and §§ 216 and 217 of the New York Education Law, respectively. Each charter school education corporation is entitled to operate one school in one or more sites for each charter that is issued to it.
