WECC shall engage with U.S. state regulators, agencies, and legislatures on matters related to WECC’s Delegated Authority and related reliability matters in collaboration with NERC, where appropriate.
The Head of Commercial Services / Delegated Authority has approved the procurement route and confirms that policies and procedures have been followed.
WECC may not delegate in whole or in part its Delegated Authority to any other entity without NERC’s express consent; provided, however, that nothing in this provision shall prohibit WECC from contracting with other entities to assist it in carrying out its Delegated Authority, provided WECC retains control and responsibility for such Delegated Authority.
