Deleterious Materials definition

Deleterious Materials means any products, substances or materials or any combination of them which at the time of specification are specified as deleterious materials in the relevant Appointments or the Building Contract or which otherwise (at the time of specification):
Deleterious Materials means materials or substances not in conformity with any relevant British or European Standards or Codes of Practice or which are generally known to be deleterious to health and safety or to the durability of buildings in the particular circumstances in which they are used having regard to the guidance note "Good Practice in Selection of Construction Materials 2011" sponsored by the British Council for Offices or which are not in conformity with the Main Contract.
Deleterious Materials means earth, waste or introduced materials exposed by mining operations to air, water, weather or microbiological processes, which would likely produce chemical or physical conditions in the soils or water that are detrimental to the biota or hydrologic systems.

Deleterious Materials means any materials or substances which are not in accordance with the report entitled "Good Practice in the Selection of Construction Materials" (published under the auspices of the steering group representing the British Council for Offices and the British Property Federation and prepared by Xxx Xxxx) at the date of this Agreement and/or the relevant British and/or European Standards and/or codes of practice or which are generally known within the construction industry at the time of specification or use to be deleterious to the durability and/or to the health and safety of buildings and/or structures and/or finishes and/or plant and machinery in the particular circumstance in which they are specified to be used
Deleterious Materials means any materials considered at the time of specification to be unacceptable in general building practice in Northern Ireland for construction works similar to the works associated with the Programme
Deleterious Materials any products, substances or materials or any combination of them which at the time of specification are specified as deleterious materials in the relevant Appointments or the Building Contract or which otherwise (at the time of specification): (a) do not conform with British or (where applicable) European Standards or codes of practice or the recommendations of the Building Research Establishment; and (b) are generally known to the building profession to be deleterious to health and safety, the performance or durability of buildings or structures or damaging to the environment in the particular circumstances in which they are specified to be used or are used;
