You cannot transfer or assign any of your right to receive payments under this agreement to another person or organization, unless the R.I. General Law §27-20-49 (Dental Insurance assignment of benefits) applies.
If MetLife is unable to pay a claim for Dental Insurance benefits because MetLife needs additional information or documentation, or there is a particular circumstance requiring special treatment, within 25 days after the date MetLife receives the claim if it is submitted in electronic form, or within 35 days after the date MetLife receives the claim if it is submitted in paper form, MetLife will send You notice of what supporting documentation or information MetLife needs.
