Dental Insurance definition

Dental Insurance. The District shall contribute $175.00 annually toward the cost of dental insurance whether for single or family coverage for full status employees who qualify for and enroll in the plan. The cost of the premium not contributed by the District for family coverage shall be borne by the employee through payroll deduction. This coverage shall continue for the duration of this contract.
Dental Insurance means insurance coverage that provides preventive dental care and other dental services, including usual dentist services, office visits, examinations, X-rays, and emergency services, that may be provided through a single service health maintenance organization or other private or public organization.

  • You cannot transfer or assign any of your right to receive payments under this agreement to another person or organization, unless the R.I. General Law §27-20-49 (Dental Insurance assignment of benefits) applies.

More Definitions of Dental Insurance

Dental Insurance. The Corporation shall provide group medical/dental insurance for the Employee under the plans of the Corporation applicable to the Employee during the term of employment of the Employee under this Employment Agreement.
Dental Insurance means an arrangement under which a policy holder makes advance payment to an insurer and the insurer pays amounts on behalf of an insured for certain preventive, diagnostic, and remedial care of the insured’s teeth and gums.
Dental Insurance. The District shall pay the full cost of single dental coverage; the nurse may purchase additional dental coverage by paying the additional premium through payroll deduction.
Dental Insurance means any written policy or program of group dental insurance coverage maintained by the Employer, whether provided through a self-insured or a fully-insured policy with a third-party carrier.
Dental Insurance. The School Board District shall contribute a sum of up to $90.00 per month for the 2021-2022 2023-24 school year and $90.00 per month for the 2022-2023 2024-25 school year toward the premium of a dental insurance policy. This policy will be available for each full-time custodial employee of the School District who qualifies for and is enrolled in the School District dental insurance plan. Any additional cost of the premium shall be borne by the employee and paid by payroll deduction.
Dental Insurance. The District shall contribute up to the sum of $32.00 per month toward the premium for individual or family coverage for all teachers employed by the School District who qualify for and are enrolled in the School District's dental insurance plan. To qualify, the teacher shall be involved in no less than thirty (30) hours of employment per week. Any additional cost of the premium shall be borne by the employee and paid by payroll deduction.
Dental Insurance means any policy of insurance that is issued by a company that provides coverage for dental services not covered by a medical plan.
