The Direct selling entity hereby declares that it is fully compliant to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Consumer Protection (Direct Selling) Rules, 2021, Legal Metrology Act, 2009, E-commerce Rules, 2009 and all other Rules and laws applicable to an Indian Direct Selling Entity.
The Direct Selling Entity shall be liable for grievances arising out of sale of products and services or business opportunity by the Direct Seller.
Sale incentive means share of profit payable to the Direct Seller for effecting sale of goods/products as stipulated in the contract between the Direct Seller and the Direct Selling Entity.
Every Direct Selling Entity should furnish reports with the following information and submit to the Monitoring Authority within 20/45 days from the end of each such quarter/financial year respectively, as the case may be.
Objectives of the Monitoring AuthorityThe Monitoring Authority will function with the following objectives:(1) To regulate the business of Direct Selling/Multi-level marketing as per the Central Guidelines to prevent fraud and protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers;(2) To monitor/supervise the activities of Direct Sellers, Direct Selling Entity regarding compliance of the Central Guidelines;(3) To implement the guidelines.
