Directed Against means, as used in connection with a Target, that the product or agent at issue is designed to interact or bind with such Target as its primary mechanism of action.

More Definitions of Directed Against

Directed Against means, with respect to (a) a Licensed Product or other in vivo gene editing product or therapy and (b) a Target, that the compound contained in such Licensed Product or such other product or therapy is designed or developed to add to, subtract, or modify such Target in a patient’s cells in vivo as its primary mechanism of action.

Directed Against means, with respect to an ASO or other compound, and with respect to a particular target, that such ASO or other compound is engineered or selected to modulate such target for therapeutic benefit.

Directed Against means, with respect to a compound or product and a Target, that the Oligo contained in such compound or product binds to and modulates such Target as its primary mechanism of action. For clarity, “Directed Against” requires direct Target interaction, and does not include pathway effects.
