Directed Against means, as used in connection with a Target, that the product or agent at issue is designed to interact or bind with such Target as its primary mechanism of action.

Directed Against means, with respect to (a) a Licensed Product or other in vivo gene editing product or therapy and (b) a Target, that the compound contained in such Licensed Product or such other product or therapy is designed or developed to add to, subtract, or modify such Target in a patient’s cells in vivo as its primary mechanism of action.

Directed Against means, with respect to a Degrader and a Target, that such Degrader [***].

Where the context requires, the defined term “Directed against” may be separated and will have the same meaning set forth above (e.g., when discussing targets against which a compound or product is Directed).
