Distribution Upgrades has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.
Distribution Upgrades. The additions, modifications, and upgrades to the Transmission Owner’s Distribution System at or beyond the Point of Interconnection to facilitate interconnection of the Small Generating Facility and render the transmission service necessary to effect the Interconnection Customer’s wholesale sale of electricity in interstate commerce. Distribution Upgrades do not include Interconnection Facilities.

The actual cost of the Distribution Upgrades, including overheads, shall be directly assigned to the Interconnection Customer.
The Interconnection Customer shall be responsible for its share of all reasonable expenses, including overheads, associated with owning, operating, maintaining, repairing, and replacing the Distribution Upgrades, as set forth in Attachment 6 to this Agreement.
The Interconnection Customer shall be responsible for all costs related to Distribution Upgrades.
The Connecting Transmission Owner shall design, procure, construct, install, and own the Distribution Upgrades described in Attachment 6 of this Agreement.
Upgrades may be System Upgrade Facilities or System Deliverability Upgrades Distribution Upgrades.
More Definitions of Distribution Upgrades
Distribution Upgrades means the additions, modifications, and upgrades to the distribution system at or beyond the point of interconnection that are necessary to accommodate the DER’s connection to the distribution system.
Distribution Upgrades has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff. “Early Termination Date” has the meaning set forth in Section 14.3. “Electric System Upgrades” means any Network Upgrades, Distribution Upgrades, Deliverability Upgrades, or Interconnection Facilities that are determined to be necessary by the CAISO or Transmission/Distribution Owner, as applicable, to physically and electrically interconnect the Project to the Transmission/Distribution Owner’s electric system for receipt of Energy at the Point of Interconnection (as defined in the CAISO Tariff) if connecting to the CAISO Grid, or the Interconnection Point, if the Transmission/Distribution Owner’s electric system is not part of the CAISO Grid.
Distribution Upgrades has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff. “Early Termination Date” has the meaning set forth in Section 13.3.
Distribution Upgrades means the additions, modifications, and enhancements made to the Utility's distribution system on the Utility's side of the point of interconnection necessary to ensure continued system reliability and power quality on the Utility's distribution system caused by the interconnection of the small generating facility. Distribution upgrades do not include network upgrades or the customer's interconnection facilities or the Utility's attachment facilities.

Distribution Upgrades do not include Interconnection Facilities, System Upgrade Facilities, or System Deliverability Upgrades.

Energy Resource Interconnection Service (“ERIS”): The service provided by the ISO to interconnect the Developer’s Large Generating Facility, Class Year Transmission Project or Small Generating Facility required to participate in a Class Year Interconnection Facilities Study under Section 32.3.5.3 of Attachment Z to the New York State Transmission System or to the Distribution System, in accordance with the NYISO Minimum Interconnection Standard, to enable the New York State Transmission System to receive Energy and Ancillary Services from the Large Generating Facility, Class Year Transmission Project or Small Generating Facility required to participate in a Class Year Interconnection Facilities Study under Section 32.3.5.3 of Attachment Z, pursuant to the terms of the ISO OATT.
