An Employee who has a religious objection to becoming a member of the Union shall be permitted to opt out of membership by providing the Union with a signed statutory declaration outlining the objection within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days from the date of commencement of employment, but such Employee shall continue to pay Union Dues.
The Employer shall, therefore, as a condition of employment, deduct each month the amount of the Union Dues as set by the Union from time to time from the pay of all Employees covered by this Agreement.
Union Dues shall be pro-rated for Employees regularly working less than full-time.
