Early Settlement Amount has the meaning specified in Section 509(a).
Early Settlement Amount means, unless otherwise specified in the applicable Pricing Supplement, an amount per Specified Denomination determined by the Calculation Agent as the market value of the Notes following the event triggering the early redemption or cancellation, adjusted to take into account any costs, losses and expenses which are incurred (or expected to be incurred) by the Issuer in connection with the early redemption of the Notes, including (without duplication or limitation) hedging termination and funding breakage costs (whether actual or notional).
