Educational License definition

Educational License means a License that has been purchased on the discounted terms of and is subject to Foundry’s educational policy as detailed at https://www.foundry.com/industries/education and as further described in the End User Licence Agreement;
Educational License means: License granted to produce, sell, or distribute the work for education purposes only.
Educational License is a license to use the Software that is granted under this Agreement to a Licensee that is a degree- or certificate-granting educational institution (“Educational Institution”). Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, under an Educational License, Licensee is only permitted to use the Software for educational purposes, and is not permitted to use the Software for any commercial purposes. An Educational License may be obtained either on a single-user basis pursuant to Section 2(a)(i) or on a site-license basis as set forth in this paragraph. Under a site license, Licensee may download and install the Software on any or all computers located on the campus of the Educational Institution that has been granted a license hereunder. At any time, the Software licensed under a site license may be operated by no more than the number of concurrent Authorized Users authorized by Licensor as set forth in the Licensor’s records (which records will be conclusive and binding in terms of determining the number of concurrent Authorized Users).

Educational License in this policy, means a type of license that authorizes the reproduction and use of online courseware by the University in offering courses to its students or by the author(s) when teaching beyond the scope of their work with the University.
