Effective Date of this Contract definition

Effective Date of this Contract means the date specified in this Contract on which the Contract becomes effective, but if no such date is specified, the date on which the last of the parties signs this Contract.

Examples of Effective Date of this Contract in a sentence

• All copyrights, patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and any other intellectual property rights existing prior to the Effective Date of this Contract shall belong to the party that owned such rights immediately prior to the Effective Date (“Pre-Existing Intellectual Property”).

• Any reference in this Contract to a statute, regulation, State Fiscal Rule, fiscal policy or other authority shall be interpreted to refer to such authority then current, as may have been changed or amended since the Effective Date of this Contract.

• To the extent that Performing Agency incorporates into the Work Product any works of Performing Agency that were created by Performing Agency or that Performing Agency acquired rights in prior to the Effective Date of this Contract (“Incorporated Pre-existing Works”), Performing Agency retains ownership of such Incorporated Pre-existing Works.

• To the extent that Contractor incorporates into the Work Product any works of Contractor that were created by Contractor or that Contractor acquired rights in prior to the Effective Date of this Contract (“Incorporated Pre-existing Works”), Contractor retains ownership of such Incorporated Pre-existing Works.

• This Contract supersedes any conflicting terms and conditions on any Purchase Order, invoices, checks, order acknowledgements, forms, purchase orders, or similar commercial documents relating hereto and which may be issued by Vendor after the Effective Date of this Contract.

• The date which is one year from the Effective Date of this Contract and each succeeding yearly date thereafter.

• The Effective Date of this Contract shall be three (3) business days following the day on which the Commission issues all necessary regulatory approval.

• The City shall not be charged for any Services or other work performed by the Company prior to the Effective Date of this Contract.

• To the extent that Performing Agency incorporates into the Work Product any works of Performing Agency that were created by Performing Agency or that Performing Agency acquired rights in prior to the Effective Date of this Contract (“ Incorporated Pre-existing Works”), Performing Agency retains ownership of such Incorporated Pre-existing Works.

• Policy Year – The period of time which starts on the Effective Date of this Contract, as stated in the Schedule of Dental Benefits, and ends at 11:59 PM (CDT) of the day before 12 months from the Effective Date.
