Employing Company definition

Employing Company means the Company and any affiliate or subsidiary of The Southern Company which the Board of Directors may from time to time determine to bring under the Plan and which shall adopt the Plan, and any successor of them. The Employing Companies are set forth on Appendix A to the Plan as updated from time to time. No such entity shall be treated as an Employing Company prior to the date it adopts the Plan.
Employing Company means Southern Company Services, Inc., or any other affiliate or subsidiary (direct or indirect) of Southern Company, which the Board of Directors may from time to time determine to bring under the Plan and which shall adopt the Plan, and any successor of any of them.
Employing Company means the Company or any Member of the Group or any Associated Company of the Company by which the Participant is or, where the context so admits, was employed;

Examples of Employing Company in a sentence

  • For purposes of this Award, in the event of a sale or similar transaction involving the business unit for which you work (“Employing Company”) as a result of which the Employing Company ceases to be a subsidiary or affiliate of Marsh & McLennan Companies, your employment will be deemed terminated by the Company other than for Cause, even if your employment with the Employing Company continues after the sale or similar transaction.

  • Further, if the Participant has become subject to Tax-Related Items in more than one jurisdiction between the Date of Grant and the date of any relevant taxable event, the Participant acknowledges that the Corporation and/or the Employing Company (or former Employing Company, as applicable) may be required to withhold or account for Tax-Related Items in more than one jurisdiction.

  • No person shall have any rights under the Plan with respect to the Trust Fund, or against the Trustee or any Employing Company, except as specifically provided herein.

  • The Grantee hereby explicitly and unambiguously consents to the collection, use and transfer, in electronic or other form, of his or her personal data as described in this document by and among, as applicable, any Employing Company and the Corporation for the exclusive purpose of implementing, administering and managing the Grantee’s participation in the Plan.

  • Any Employing Company may withdraw from participation in the Plan at any time.


More Definitions of Employing Company

Employing Company means the Company or any subsidiary of the Company electing to participate in this Plan under the provisions of Section 7.1.
