Engine Performance Restoration definition
Engine Performance Restoration means, with respect to an Engine, the accomplishment of a ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ workscope on each of the core Engine modules (namely, the HPC, HPT and Diffuser/Combustor) pursuant to the then-current IAE V2500-A5 Maintenance Management Plan (“IMMP”) and a Level 2 or 3/HPC Shop Maintenance workscope on each of the other Engine modules pursuant to the IMMP, in each which is designed to result in at least a further 8,000 Cycles of on-wing operation of the applicable Engine before its next anticipated removal.
Engine Performance Restoration means, in respect of any Engine, the performance of a refurbishment of such Engine to clear it until its next anticipated Engine Performance Restoration (including, without limitation, the completion of a Level 3 Refurbishment on each of the high pressure turbine, the high pressure compressor and the combuster) in all cases in accordance with the maintenance procedures and soft times as defined in the EMMP (excluding any LRU’s on such Engine).

With respect to each Engine, LESSOR will reimburse LESSEE from the Engine Performance Restoration Reserves as follows.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, Engine Performance Restoration Reserves shall be calculated with respect to any relevant period based on the thrust rating at which the Engine is actually operated, from time to time, during such period.
LESSEE acknowledges that it is required under this Lease to pay to LESSOR the Engine Performance Restoration Reserves even if the Engines are placed under the FHA Agreement.
A calculation of Lessee’s actual Flight Hour-to-Cycle ratio will be made annually as of May 1st of each calendar year during the Lease Term, beginning on May 1, 2008, and any difference in Engine Performance Restoration Maintenance Fund will be reconciled on the date when the next Maintenance Fund payment is due (in accordance with Article 4.3.6) following such calculation.

Engine Performance Restoration in respect of each Engine, an amount equal to the Engine Supplemental Rent Rate for each Engine Flight Hour (or fraction thereof) operated by that Engine during that calendar month ("Engine Supplemental Rent"); provided, however, Lessee shall have no obligation to make any payment of Engine Supplemental Rent in respect of any period during which the Engine installed on the Aircraft is subject to a maintenance cost per hour agreement or similar arrangement with the Agreed Maintenance Performer so long as (x) such agreement or arrangement is approved in advance (i.e., before the enrollment of the Engine installed on the Aircraft in any such agreement or arrangement) in writing by Lessor (such approval not to be unreasonably withheld), and (y) in the event that the Engine installed on the Aircraft is enrolled in any such agreement or arrangement before Lessor approves such agreement or arrangement, or in the event that any Engine enrolled in any such agreement or arrangement is to be installed on the Aircraft before Lessor approves such agreement or arrangement, then Lessee shall pay and continue to pay Engine Supplemental Rent in accordance with this subclause for all periods prior to the time at which Lessee obtains Lessor's written approval (which approval shall not be unreasonably delayed) of the applicable agreement or arrangement (if ever);
