Environmental Management Plans definition

Environmental Management Plans or “EMPs” means the plans to be prepared by the Recipient and the Project Implementing Entities in accordance with Section I.E.1(b) of Schedule 2 to this Agreement and the Environmental and Social Safeguard Instruments, defining details of measures to manage potential environmental risks and mitigate, reduce and/or offset adverse environmental impacts associated with the implementation of Project activities, together with adequate institutional, monitoring and reporting arrangements capable of ensuring proper implementation of, and regular feedback on compliance with, its terms.
Environmental Management Plans or “EMPs” means the Associated Infrastructure Environmental Management Plan and the Project Environmental Management Plans;
Environmental Management Plans means the plans and policies to be used by the Contractor in accordance with Clause 13 (Environment);

More Definitions of Environmental Management Plans

Environmental Management Plans or “EMPs” means the two Social and Environmental Assessment (“SEA”) reports in respect of the Project and the UETC Line being financed and constructed for the benefit of UETC (the “UETC Line Project”), both dated December 2006, adopted by the Company and approved by the Association; the EMPs also set out the actions, measures, monitoring arrangements and other activities to be undertaken by the Company, as well as UETC and the Government, during implementation of the Project and the UETC Line Project, to mitigate adverse environmental and social impacts, offset them, or reduce them to acceptable levels, as such plans may be amended from time to time with the prior agreement of the Association;
Environmental Management Plans means the EMP Part A and the EMP Part B collectively;
