Environmental Management Plans definition
Environmental Management Plans or “EMPs” means the plans to be prepared by the Recipient and the Project Implementing Entities in accordance with Section I.E.1(b) of Schedule 2 to this Agreement and the Environmental and Social Safeguard Instruments, defining details of measures to manage potential environmental risks and mitigate, reduce and/or offset adverse environmental impacts associated with the implementation of Project activities, together with adequate institutional, monitoring and reporting arrangements capable of ensuring proper implementation of, and regular feedback on compliance with, its terms.
Environmental Management Plans or “EMPs” means the Associated Infrastructure Environmental Management Plan and the Project Environmental Management Plans;
Environmental Management Plans means the plans and policies to be used by the Contractor in accordance with Clause 13 (Environment);

Thereafter DBCMI shall provide the Parties and the Monitoring Agency with any and all amendments and revisions to the Environmental Management Plans as and when such amendments or revisions are made.
The Recipient shall ensure that Environmental Impact Assessments shall be carried out and Environmental Management Plans shall be developed in a timely manner for all Investment Subprojects requiring such assessments and/or planning and shall provide and maintain adequate information on the carrying out of such Environmental Impact Assessments and implementing such Environmental Management Plans as part of the supervision responsibilities referred to in paragraph A.1 of this Section.
This FPA sets forth the plans of the various signatories and represents the firm commitment of each signatory to support the XL process, the site-specific rulemaking and the development and implementation of the Environmental Management Plans necessary to fully carry out this Laboratory XL Project.
The Borrower shall ensure that the Project is carried out in accordance with the Environmental and Social Management Framework and with the Environmental Management Plan(s) and Social Management Plan(s), including the provisions on resettlement and income restoration support, for the Project sites.
Where applicable, traditional knowledge shall be considered fully along with scientific knowledge in developing, reviewing and amending the Environmental Management Plans.

Environmental Management Plans or “EMPs” means the two Social and Environmental Assessment (“SEA”) reports in respect of the Project and the UETC Line being financed and constructed for the benefit of UETC (the “UETC Line Project”), both dated December 2006, adopted by the Company and approved by the Association; the EMPs also set out the actions, measures, monitoring arrangements and other activities to be undertaken by the Company, as well as UETC and the Government, during implementation of the Project and the UETC Line Project, to mitigate adverse environmental and social impacts, offset them, or reduce them to acceptable levels, as such plans may be amended from time to time with the prior agreement of the Association;
Environmental Management Plans means, collectively, the Recipient’s plans, dated May 2003 with respect to the first phase of Part 1 of the Project and October 2004 with respect to the second phase of Part 1 of the Project, and as may be prepared with respect to Part 2 of the Project in accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Assessment Framework, agreed with the Association and setting out mitigation, enhancement, monitoring, and institutional measures, including capacity building through training, that have been identified by the Recipient to eliminate any adverse environmental impacts of the Project, respectively, offset them, or reduce them to acceptable levels, or enhance positive impacts, as the same may be modified from time to time with the prior written agreement of the Association, and such term includes any schedules or annexes to such plans; and “Environmental Management Plan” means, individually, any of such plans.
Environmental Management Plans means the plans, prepared and adopted by MEC satisfactory to the Bank, describing the specific environmental mitigation, monitoring and institutional measures required for the identified mines to be closed under the Project; and such term shall also include the plans to be prepared, pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 5 of Part A of Schedule 5 to this Agreement, describing the specific environmental mitigation, monitoring and institutional measures required for mines and ancillary facilities proposed to be included under Part A of the Project; and the plans to be prepared and adopted by AZM, satisfactory to the Bank, pursuant to the provisions of Part E of Schedule 5 to this Agreement, describing the specific environmental mitigation, monitoring and institutional measures required for the municipal infrastructure facilities proposed to be upgraded under Part B.2 (b) of the Project;

Environmental Management Plans means all plans by Project Co in accordance with the requirements of the Environmental Assessment Certificate, the Port Project and Environmental Permit, the Table of Conditions – EAC and the Project and Environmental Conditions – PPEP and Schedule 6 [Environmental Requirements].
