Excess Renewable Energy definition

Excess Renewable Energy means an amount representing Renewable Supply in kWh not utilized by Customer over the course of a True-Up Period, as determined by Company for the True-Up Period associated with each Annual True-Up and calculated in accordance with the following formula:
Excess Renewable Energy means, in any hour, the amount of Net Output from the Renewable Energy Facility delivered to the Point of Interconnection in excess of the Delivered Renewable Energy.

Examples of Excess Renewable Energy in a sentence

  • The total billing period credit will be calculated as the Company’s avoided energy cost (“AEC”) rate as described in Company’s LQF tariff rider multiplied by the total amount of Excess Renewable Energy for all Contract Billing Intervals within the billing period.

  • Renewable energy facility means an electric generation unit or other facility or installation that produces electric energy using a Renewable Energy Source.

  • Renewable energy project means (A) a project

  • Eligible Renewable Energy Resource or “ERR” has the meaning set forth in California Public Utilities Code Section 399.12 and California Public Resources Code Section 25741, as either code provision is amended or supplemented from time to time.

  • Renewable energy resource means a resource that naturally replenishes over a human, not a geological, time frame and that is ultimately derived from solar power, water power, or wind power. Renewable energy resource does not include petroleum, nuclear, natural gas, or coal. A renewable energy resource comes from the sun or from thermal inertia of the earth and minimizes the output of toxic material in the conversion of the energy and includes, but is not limited to, all of the following:

  • Renewable Resources means one of the following sources of energy: solar, wind, tidal, geothermal, biomass, hydroelectric facilities or digester gas.

  • Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) means the rechargeable energy storage system that provides electric energy for electrical propulsion.

  • Renewable energy system means a fixture, product, device, or interacting group of fixtures, products, or devices on the customer's side of the meter that use 1 or more renewable energy resources to generate electricity. Renewable energy system includes a biomass stove but does not include an incinerator or digester.

  • Renewable Energy Certificate or "REC" means a certificate

  • Renewable Energy Certificates or “RECs” means all of the GIS Certificates and environmental benefits associated with New Class I RPS eligible resources.

  • Renewable fuel means a fuel that is derived from Eligible Energy Resources. This term does not include a fossil fuel or a waste product from a fossil fuel source.

  • Renewable resource means: (a) Water; (b) wind; (c) solar

  • energy from renewable sources or ‘renewable energy’ means energy from renewable non-fossil sources, namely wind, solar (solar thermal and solar photovoltaic) and geothermal energy, ambient energy, tide, wave and other ocean energy, hydropower, biomass, landfill gas, sewage treatment plant gas, and biogas;

  • Electric generation service means the provision of retail
