Excluded Works definition

Excluded Works means Works appearing on the List of Excluded Works published on the ICLA websitewww.icla.ie and updated from time to time.
Excluded Works those individual works which are identified as Excluded Works for the HE Licence on CLA’s website or other electronic means controlled by or on behalf of CLA. For the avoidance of doubt, individual works may be excluded from Material Licensed for Photocopying, from Material Licensed for Scanning or from Digital Material or from any combination thereof;
Excluded Works means material contained in Works or categories of Works appearing on a List of Excluded Works published from time to time by ICLA.

Examples of Excluded Works in a sentence

  • You cannot copy from Excluded Works, and works in any Excluded Category (see notes).

  • Thereafter, MCPS will notify the Licensee by email on or around the first working day of each month of any up-date to the list of Excluded Works.

  • Any new Musical Works added to the list of Excluded Works will be Excluded Works in respect of all Programmes and Programme Related Material with a Delivery Date on or after the first working day of the second calendar month after the month in which MCPS provided notification of the new Excluded Works.

  • By way of example, Excluded Works notified to the Licensee on the 1 July 2016 will apply to all Programmes and Programme Related Material with a Delivery Date on or after 1 September 2016.

  • You cannot copy from Excluded Works, and works in any Excluded Category (see notes).• Digital CopyingYou can make Digital Copies from works created and distributed in electronic form published by a Participating Digital Material Publisher (see notes) except Excluded Works or works in any Excluded Category (see notes).


More Definitions of Excluded Works

Excluded Works means any Musical Work(s) which MCPS notifies to the Licensee as being excluded from the licences granted under this Agreement. An up-to-date list of Excluded Works will be available at the following website address xxx.xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/xxx.
Excluded Works has the meaning given to it in clause 14.1(q).
Excluded Works means any work or invention created by Executive entirely on Executive’s own time, for which no equipment, supplies, facilities, or Proprietary Information of the Company was used, which does not relate to any of the services set forth in this Agreement, and which does not relate to the Company’s business at the time of work or invention. In furtherance of the foregoing, the Executive hereby acknowledges and agrees that, in accordance with Section 49.44.140 of the Revised Code of Washington, following the Effective Date, this Section 18(e) does not require the Executive to assign or offer to assign to the Company any Invention that the Executive develops entirely on the Executive’s own time without using the Company Group’s equipment, supplies, facilities or trade secret information, except for those Inventions that either: (a) relates directly to the Company Group’s business, or actual or demonstrably anticipated research or development; or (b) result from any work performed by the Executive for the Company Group. To the extent a provision in the foregoing purports to require Executive to assign an Invention otherwise excluded from the preceding paragraph, the provision is against the public policy of the State of Washington and is unenforceable. This limited exclusion does not apply to any patent or Invention covered by a contract between the Company Group and the United States or any of its agencies requiring full title to such patent or Invention to be in the United States.
Excluded Works means the works specified in Schedule 2.
Excluded Works means works, syndicated comics, columns, wire news stories, photographs, and graphics originated or reproduced from works of other publishers or news agencies, or works created, written or produced by non-employee contributors, writers, or photographers who hold the copyright for the works, including but not limited to any specific exclusions that HKCLA may inform the Licensee from time to time. For Hong Kong Economic Journal Monthly, translated works, all supplements and publications that are distributed as parts of such Publication will also be excluded.
Excluded Works means any Work or Invention created in whole or in part by Employee, (i) existing prior to Employee’s employment with the Company; or (ii) for which no equipment, supplies, facility or Trade Secret information of the Company was used and that was developed entirely on Employee’s own time, and (1) that does not relate (a) directly to the business of the Company or (b) to the actual or demonstrably anticipated research or development of the Company, or (2) that does not result from any work performed by Employee for the Company. Excluded Works shall be excluded from the definitions of Works (as defined below) and Inventions herein, and the copyright ownership of Excluded Works shall remain Employee’s sole property and/or the sole property of Employee’s assigns and not owned by the Company.
Excluded Works means any publications or other artistic works that are created or developed by Executive in his non-work time during the term of this Agreement and that do not relate to, and are not useable in connection with, any Employer Business.
