Family Day Care definition

Family Day Care means a business regularly providing care during part of the 24-hour day to 12 or fewer persons, including children and/or adults, and the children, if applicable, of the day care provider, in the family abode of the person or persons under whose direct care those receiving care are placed.

Family Day Care means premises used to provide family day care within the meaning of the Child Care Services (Family Day Care) Regulations 2006;

Family Day Care or “Family Child Care” means regularly provided care, protection and supervision of children, in the caregiver's own home, for periods of less than 24 hours per day, while the parents or authorized representatives are away, as defined in Section 102352(f)(1) of the California Code of Regulations.

Family Day Care means an occupied residence in which child care is regularly provided for any part of a day, but less than 24 hours, except in emergencies, for one to six children from one or more related or unrelated families. The maximum of six children includes children living in the home.
