Fed Funds Rate definition

Fed Funds Rate means, for any period, a fluctuating interest rate (expressed as a per annum rate and rounded upwards, if necessary, to the next 1/16 of 1%) equal for each day during such period to the weighted average of the rates on overnight Federal funds transactions with members of the Federal Reserve System arranged by Federal funds brokers, as published for such day (or, if such day is not a Business Day, for the next preceding Business Day) by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, or, if such rates are not so published for any day which is a Business Day, the average of the quotations for such day on such transactions received by BNPLC's Parent from three Federal funds brokers of recognized standing selected by BNPLC's Parent. All determinations of the Fed Funds Rate by BNPLC's Parent shall, in the absence of clear and demonstrable error, be binding and conclusive upon NAI.
Fed Funds Rate means with respect to any day, the rate for that day opposite the caption “Federal Funds (Effective)” in the statistical release designated as H.15 (Selected Interest Rates (Daily)) or any successor publication, published by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, but not less than 0%.
Fed Funds Rate means, for any day, the annual rate (rounded upwards, if necessary, to the nearest 0.01%) determined (which determination is conclusive and binding, absent manifest error) by the Administrative Agent to be equal to (a) the weighted average of the rates on overnight federal funds transactions with member banks of the Federal Reserve System arranged by federal funds brokers on that day (or, if such day is not a Business Day, then on the immediately preceding Business Day), as published by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on the next Business Day, or (b) if those rates are not published for any such day, the average of the quotations at approximately 10:00 a.m. received by the Administrative Agent from three federal funds brokers of recognized standing selected by the Administrative Agent in its sole discretion.

Examples of Fed Funds Rate in a sentence

  • Transfer Agent A balance credit equal to 100% of the average balance in the transfer agent demand deposit accounts, less the reserve requirement and applicable related expenses, times 75% of the 30 average Fed Funds Rate.

  • If instructed otherwise, all open invoices in excess of 10 days after the invoice is mailed will accrue interest daily at the Fed Funds Rate.

  • In the event the Agent does not remit any amount to any Bank when required by the preceding sentence, the Agent shall pay to such Bank interest on such amount until paid at a rate per annum equal to the Fed Funds Rate.

  • TRANSFER AGENT A balance credit equal to 100% of the average balance in the transfer agent demand deposit accounts, less the reserve requirement and applicable related expenses, times 75% of the 30 average Fed Funds Rate.

  • Any such payment owed by the Administrative Agent to any Bank which is not paid within the applicable time period shall bear interest until paid (payable by the Administrative Agent) at the Fed Funds Rate.

Fed Funds Rate means, with respect to any Business Day, a rate per annum equal to the federal funds rate as published on the immediately preceding Business Day to the date of determination by the Federal Open Market Committee on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System website, currently at https://www.federalreserve.gov, or any successor source identified as such by the Federal Open Market Committee from time to time;
Fed Funds Rate means the average Federal Funds rate as published daily in the Wall Street Journal;
Fed Funds Rate means, for any date, the weighted average of the rates set forth in the weekly statistical release H.15(519) (or any successor publication) published by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System opposite the caption “Federal Funds (Effective).”
