Feed-in Tariff definition

Feed-in Tariff or “FiT” means the scheme introduced by government in April 2010 to promote the uptake of renewable and low-carbon electricity generation technologies;
Feed-in Tariff means a performance-based incentive supporting renewable energy generation guaranteeing payments to a Service Recipient for total kWh produced, access to the grid and a long-term contract, and/or similar additional terms.
Feed-in Tariff means tariff for ex-bus supply of electricity from Solar PV generating station for the purpose of accounting.

  • The Parties shall use their respective best endeavours and co-operate with each other to ensure that the feed-in tariff commencement date occurs by the Scheduled Feed-in Tariff Commencement Date.
