Field Order definition

Field Order means a written order issued by an authorized County official/employee to the Contractor during construction effecting a change in the Work by authorizing an addition, deletion, or revision in the Work within the general scope of the Work not involving an adjustment in the Contract Price or a change to the Contract Time or Term. No Field Order shall be valid or effective unless it is signed by the County employee(s) who has been authorized in writing by the Chief Executive Officer or his/her designee to execute Field Orders.
Field Order means a written order to the Contractor, signed by the Commission Representative unilaterally directing changes in the Work or the Project CPM Schedule.
Field Order means the written order to you, signed by the Commissioner, unilaterally directing changes in the Work or the Contract Time, or directing you to take corrective action and to adhere to Contract.

Examples of Field Order in a sentence

  • Contractor’s signature acknowledging receipt of the Field Order will not operate to impair Contractor’s right to dispute the Field Order as set forth herein.

More Definitions of Field Order

Field Order means changes in the Work made by DFD through use of direction, instruction, interpretation, determination, or any other mode or manner.
