Gender and number definition

Gender and number means the masculine gender shall include the feminine, and the singular the plural as the context may require.
Gender and number. The masculine gender wherever used herein shall be deemed to include the feminine. Words in the singular shall be read and construed as though used in the plural in all cases where they would so apply, and vice versa.
