GHG Intensity definition

GHG Intensity means the amount of GHG emissions per megajoule (MJ) of the fuels and energy, expressed in grams of CO2 equivalent units (gCO2eq/MJ), used on board the Vessel under the scope of FuelEU Maritime, calculated in accordance with the methodology set out in Annex I of FuelEU Maritime.
GHG Intensity means the GHG emissions per unit of energy;
GHG Intensity means the amount of CO2e emitted in kilograms per tonne of liquid steel produced in a given year, measured as follows:

More Definitions of GHG Intensity

GHG Intensity means the aggregate amount of Total GHG Emissions per total wellhead volume produced at all wellheads that are serviced by assets under the operational control of the Parent and its Subsidiaries in a Reference Year, as calculated at the end of such Reference Year in accordance with the Parent’s internal calculation methodology.
GHG Intensity means the Total GHG Emissions per barrel of oil equivalent throughput by assets under the operational control of the Parent and its Subsidiaries in a Reference Year, as calculated at the end of such Reference Year in accordance with the Parent’s internal throughput calculation methodology.
GHG Intensity means the Absolute GHG Emissions per petajoule of energy delivered (throughput) by assets under the operational control of the Company and its Subsidiaries in a fiscal year, as calculated at the end of such fiscal year in accordance with the Company’s internal throughput calculation methodology. The Company may elect, without the consent of the Holders of the Notes, to switch from the operational control approach for calculating GHG Intensity to an equity share or financial control approach or, in the event of significant or structural changes at the Company (including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers or other corporate actions with similar effect), changes in a calculation methodology for GHG emissions and emissions intensity used by the Company’s peers or the market in general or adopted as industry standard or required by law, changes in data availability due to improved calculation methodologies or better data collection processes or accessibility or the discovery of data errors, may, in good faith and without the consent of the Holders of the Notes, make other adjustments to the Company’s internal methodology for calculating energy throughput and Absolute GHG Emissions and/or to the 2018 baseline GHG Intensity, provided that any such adjustment shall be guided by the GHG Protocol and/or other applicable market standards or regulatory requirements and in the aggregate maintain or increase the proposed level of ambition of the GHG Intensity Performance Target in all material respects.
GHG Intensity the baseline is 91,16 g CO2 equivalent per MJ based on the MRV data for voyages performed to, between or from the EU/EEA. Under FuelEU Maritime, the vessels’ GHG intensity rating is to be reduced in steps, with a 2% reduction in 2025 and up to, ultimately, an 80% reduction by 2050.
The Company may elect, without the consent of the Noteholders, to switch from the operational control method for calculating GHG Intensity to an equity share method and make, in good faith, adjustments to the 2018 baseline GHG Intensity and the Company’s internal methodology for calculating energy throughput and Absolute GHG Emissions in order to account for such switch.
GHG Intensity means for calendar year 2024 the Company’s (i) total greenhouse gas emissions (MtC02e) as calculated in accordance with the methodology for annual regulatory reporting to the Environmental Protection Agency divided by (ii) total production.
