The Contractor’s representatives, when employed within the boundaries of a Government Establishment, shall comply with such rules, regulations and requirements (including those relating to security arrangements) as may be in force.
Sleeping accommodation and messing facilities, if required, may be provided wherever possible by the Government Establishment, at the discretion of the Officer in Charge, at a cost fixed in accordance with current Authority regulations.
Injury, disease or dangerous occurrences involving the Contractor’s employees or agents or sub-contractor(s) at a Government Establishment or Accepted OPV, which ordinarily require to be reported in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 shall also be reported to the Officer in Charge.
The Contractor shall report any injury, disease or dangerous occurrence at any Government Establishment arising out of the performance of this Contract, which is required to be reported under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR) to the Officer in Charge of the relevant Government Establishment.
The Contractor shall be responsible for the living accommodation and maintenance of his representatives while they are working at or attending a Government Establishment or on board an Accepted OPV.
Where GFA is issued to the Contractor and is not retained at Government Establishment, the requirements of DEFCON 611 shall apply.
Where the Contractor's Representatives are required by the Contract to join or visit a Government Establishment overseas, transport between the United Kingdom and the place of duty (but excluding transport within the United Kingdom) shall be provided free of charge by the Authority whenever possible, normally by Royal Air Force or by MOD chartered aircraft.
The Authority will issue passes for those representatives who are approved by it in accordance with Clause 1.98 for admission to the Government Establishment or to board the OPV(s) after Acceptance and a representative shall not be admitted unless in possession of such a pass.
