Government Official definition
Government Official means any officer, employee, official, representative, or any Person acting for or on behalf of any Official Body, government-owned or government-controlled association, organization, business, or enterprise, or public international organization, any political party or official thereof and any candidate for political office.
Government Official means (i) any officer, employee or other person acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of a government or any department, agency or instrumentality thereof, (ii) any officer, employee or other person acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of a public international organization (such as the United Nations, World Bank, or World Health Organization), (iii) any political party or official thereof or any candidate for political office, and (iv) any family members or representatives of any of the individuals listed above.
Government Official means any officer or employee of a Governmental Authority or any department, agency or instrumentality thereof, including state-owned entities, or of a public organization or any person acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of any such government, department, agency, or instrumentality or on behalf of any such public organization.

Subject to the foregoing, each Party agrees that prior to hiring or retaining any Government Official to assist in its performance of this Agreement it shall obtain the written consent of the other Party and complete a satisfactory anti-corruption and bribery (e.g., FCPA) due diligence review of such Government Official consistent with industry standards.
Employee also represents and warrants that Employee will disclose to Employer if Employee or any member of Employee’s family is a Foreign Government Official.
Employee understands that Employee may not directly or indirectly offer, promise, grant, or authorize the giving of money or anything else of value to a Foreign Government Official to influence official action, obtain or retain business, or secure an improper advantage.

Government Official means (a) any official, officer, employee, or representative of, or any person acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of, any Governmental Authority, (b) any salaried political party official, elected member of political office or candidate for political office, or (c) any company, business, enterprise or other entity owned or controlled by any person described in the foregoing clauses;

Government Official means (i) any director, officer, employee, agent or representative (including anyone elected, nominated, or appointed to be a director, officer, employee, agent or representative) of any government entity, or anyone otherwise acting in an official capacity on behalf of a government entity; (ii) any political party, political party official, or political party employee; (iii) any candidate for public or political office; (iv) any royal or ruling family member; or (v) any agent or representative of any of those persons listed in (i) through (iv).
