Governmental Account Debtor definition

Governmental Account Debtor means any Account Debtor that is a Governmental Authority, including, without limitation, Medicare and Medicaid.
Governmental Account Debtor means an account debtor making payments under Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE and any other health care program operated by or financed in whole or in part by any foreign or domestic federal, state or local government.
Governmental Account Debtor means the United States government or a political subdivision thereof, or any state, county or municipality or department, agency or instrumentality thereof, that is responsible for payment of an Account, or any agent, administrator, intermediary or carrier for the foregoing.

  • Each Borrower shall, within sixty (60) days after the Closing Date, execute with each applicable depository institution a Deposit Account Restriction Agreement and such other agreements related to each bank account of Borrowers for which collections of Accounts from a Governmental Account Debtor are held as Administrative Agent may require.

Governmental Account Debtor means any Account Debtor which is (a) the United States of America acting under the Medicare program established pursuant to the Social Security Act or any other program established by federal law requiring that payments for healthcare goods or services be made to the providers or suppliers of such services (including, without limitation, CHAMPUS as set forth in Title 10 U.S.C. Section 1071 et seq.), (b) any state or the District of Columbia responsible for administering such state’s (or district’s) Medicaid program adopted pursuant to Title XIX of the Social Security Act or (c) any agent, carrier, administrator or intermediary for any of the foregoing.
