Graduate Assistantship definition

Graduate Assistantship or “Graduate Assistant” means an appointment of a Ryerson Graduate Student, enrolled on a full-time basis, who is employed to assist with teaching or related duties. Such students shall be Ryerson students enrolled in the University’s Master’s or PhD programs.
Graduate Assistantship shall be a contractual agreement between the University and a full-time graduate student for a specified number of hours of teaching support and/or research support delivered over the course of a semester.
Graduate Assistantship means the appointment of a graduate student as a Graduate Research Assistant, a Graduate Teaching Assistant, or to a Graduate Research Assistantship Fellowship.
