Grants definition

Grants means subsidies, aid, or payments to local governments, to community and quasi-public agencies for providing local services, and to persons who are not wards of the State for services or supplies and means cash or other direct assistance, including pension contributions.
Grants means monies provided by the state to or on behalf of individuals or entities to underwrite specific costs of services or programs. Although grants may be distributed for specific purposes, payment is not based upon supply of specific units of service or products.
Grants or “Granting” shall include to grant, assign, pledge, transfer, convey, set over and dispose.

Examples of Grants in a sentence

  • The Separation Date or, if applicable, the date of termination of Executive’s services under the Consulting Agreement, is hereinafter referred to as the “Option Vesting End Date.” You will have 90 days following the Option Vesting End Date to exercise the vested portion of your Equity Grants in accordance with the terms of the applicable Equity Grant.

  • This Agreement shall amend the Equity Grants in accordance with applicable sections of the Company’s 2015 Equity Incentive Award Plan and Company’s 2017 Stock Incentive Plan.
