Guarantee of payment definition

Guarantee of payment means a loan guarantee under which the authority agrees to pay according to the terms of the guarantee agreement if the instrument is not paid when due.

The amount of any Guarantee Obligation shall be deemed to be an amount equal to the stated or determinable amount of the Indebtedness in respect of which such Guarantee Obligation is made or, if not stated or determinable, the maximum reasonably anticipated liability in respect thereof (assuming such Person is required to perform thereunder) as determined by such Person in good faith or, if the Guarantee Obligation is expressly limited to a specified amount, such specified amount.
