The Head of Council shall be an ex-officio member of all Town Standing, Advisory and Ad-hoc Committees where not otherwise prohibited by any Act and shall have full voting privileges when in attendance at any meeting thereof and shall have the privilege of raising new business or adding any matter to a previously completed meeting Agenda.
The Acting Head of Council will assume certain duties of the Head of Council outlined in Section 6 for the duration requested by the Head of Council.
The Head of Council or the Chair of a Committee, prior to a regularly scheduled meeting, may cancel the meeting due to inclement weather, a matter of respect or a lack of corporate business requiring immediate attention.
