Examples of Hearing on the Merits in a sentence
The Hearing on the Merits took place at the Peace Palace, The Hague from 10 October to 9 November 2012.
For the purposes of introduction, the Tribunal reproduces below verbatim the written “skeleton arguments” that the Parties submitted prior to the Hearing on the Merits at the Tribunal’s request.
On 12 September 2012, the Tribunal issued Procedural Order No. 15 dealing with logistical and procedural issues for the Hearing on the Merits.
At the Hearing on the Merits, Respondent called 8 of Claimants’ 11 witnesses for examination.

Any party may request the presence of a City-approved translator for the Hearing on the Merits.
A Respondent and MFDA Staff may each initiate settlement discussions with the other at any time for the purpose of attempting to resolve the allegations of misconduct at a Settlement Hearing rather than at the Hearing on the Merits (Step 10 below).
