Hold Period definition

Hold Period means, with respect to a Held Maturity, the period starting on the Sale Date and ending on the earlier of (i) the close of the fifth business day after the Sale Date or (ii) the date on which the Underwriters have sold at least 10% of such Held Maturity to the Public at a price no higher than the applicable Initial Offering Price.
Hold Period means four months and one day from the Closing Date and in the case of a purchaser who is an insider of the Issuer for the purposes of the Securities Act (Ontario) means 6 months from the Closing Date;

Examples of Hold Period in a sentence

  • When the platform determines that the next trade in the contract month will be at a price that is outside the active IPL range, the platform triggers a Hold Period, during which the price of the contract is not permitted to trade outside the IPL range that was in place at the start of the IPL Hold Period.
