Hospital Confinement definition

Hospital Confinement or “Confined” shall mean the status of staying in a Hospital as an in-patient for medical treatment upon the recommendation of a Physician for a minimum continuous period of 24 hours prior to discharge.
Hospital Confinement means admission to a hospital ward.

Hospital Confinement means being confined in a hospital as a registered patient because of a medical necessity and on the recommendation of a Qualified Medical Practitioner. One day of "Hospital Confinement" shall mean a period for which the hospital makes a charge for room and board for the treatment of Injury or Sickness.
Hospital Confinement means that a covered person is registered as a bed-patient in a hospital and incurs a daily room charge.
