The Human Resources Director agrees to work with City departments to ensure proper utilization of Proposition F and temporary exempt (“as needed”) employees when such positions would more appropriately or efficiently be filled by permanent employees.
If a regular employee or an employee who is still serving a trial service period is subsequently appointed in the same classification from one department to another, the receiving department may, with the approval of the Seattle Human Resources Director, require that a twelve (12) month trial service period be served in that department.
