Independent Investigator definition

Independent Investigator means the person(s) retained by the Executive Director to receive, administer, and/or investigate, at the direction of the Commission, allegations of police misconduct.

Independent Investigator has the meaning set forth in Section 7(S).

More Definitions of Independent Investigator

Independent Investigator means a DoD civilian employee or service member who is outside the immediate chain of command of the complainant and the subject of the investigation, and trained in the investigation of sexual harassment, as determined by the relevant Secretary.
