Indexation Factor definition

Indexation Factor means for Gas Year Y the ratio of RPIY/RPI0 where:
Indexation Factor means for Gas Year Y the ratio of RPIY/RPI0 where: RPI means the “CHAW” Index numbers of consumer prices – “RPI All Items” as published by the Office for National Statistics in the monthly Consumer Price Inflation Reference Tables (or any successor to such Index published by such Office or any other department of HM Government) at xxx.xxx.xxx.xx; RPIY = the average value of the RPI for the twelve month period ending on 30 June immediately prior to the commencement of Gas Year Y; RPI0 = average RPI for twelve months ending 30 June prior to the commencement of the Initial Gas Year, such value to be revised by Interconnector in the event of the index being updated or replaced;
Indexation Factor means the recalculation of a financial contribution to be made under this Agreement applying the following formula: A x B = D C where: A = the contributions payable under Schedule 3 of this Agreement B = the figure shown in the BCIS All-in Tender Price Index for the period immediately prior to the date of payment under this Agreement. C = the figure shown in the BCIS All-in Tender Price Index for the period published before the date of this Agreement and D = the recalculated sum payable under this Agreement.

Examples of Indexation Factor in a sentence

  • The Indexation Factor (if any) that shall apply to the Contracted Capacity Price for a Capacity Product is the Indexation Factor set out in the Charging Statement prevailing at the time the liability for the Capacity Charge accrues.

  • For each Relevant Year commencing on and from 1 April 2019, the Indexed Figures shall be adjusted in accordance with paragraph 7.2.2. For the Relevant Year commencing on and from 1 April 2019, the Indexed Figures shall be adjusted as at 1 April 2019 by multiplying them by the Initial Indexation Factor.

  • For each Relevant Year commencing on and from 1 April 2019, the Indexed Figures shall be adjusted in accordance with paragraph 2.7.2. For the Relevant Year commencing on and from 1 April 2019, the Indexed Figures shall be adjusted as at 1 April 2019 by multiplying them by the Initial Indexation Factor.

  • If, at the date of settlement of a Loss, the indexation figure shows a variation of more than 10% in comparison with the index in force at the Policy Signing Date, the Deductible of the policy , endorsements and the Limit of Indemnity, if any, shall be adjusted by application of the Indexation Factor as from the Policy Signing Date.

  • At any time during the period of insurance other than the Date of Policy Coverage Inception the Sum Insured shall correspond to the Sum Insured of the Insured Property at the Date of Policy Coverage Inception adjusted by application of the Indexation Factor as per CIDC (Construction Industry Development Council) stated in the Schedule as from the Date of Policy Coverage Inception.


More Definitions of Indexation Factor

Indexation Factor for these purposes means for each calendar year the greater of 1 and the result of dividing the Index for that year by the Index for the previous year, then subtracting 1.05, then dividing by 2 and then adding 1.
