Limited Shareholders will be shown on, and the transfer of Limited Shares will be effected only through, in the case of DTC Participants, the records maintained by the Depository and, in the case of Indirect Participants and Limited Shareholders holding through a DTC Participant or an Indirect Participant, through those records or the records of the relevant DTC Participants or Indirect Participants.
Ownership of beneficial interest in Limited Shares will be limited to DTC Participants, Indirect Participants and persons holding interests through DTC Participants and Indirect Participants.
The Trust and the Sponsor also expect that payments by DTC Participants to Indirect Participants and Limited Shareholders holding Limited Shares through such DTC Participants and Indirect Participants will be governed by standing instructions and customary practices, as is now the case with securities held for the accounts of customers in bearer form or registered in a “street name,” and will be the responsibility of such DTC Participants and Indirect Participants.
So long as the Depository Agreement is in effect, Creation Baskets will be issued and redeemed and Limited Shares will be transferable solely through the book-entry systems of the Depository and the DTC Participants and their Indirect Participants as more fully described in Section 3.6.
