Industry Ratings Clause Samples
Industry Ratings. The City will only accept coverage from an insurance carrier who offers proof that it:
a. Is authorized to do business in the State of Kansas;
b. Carries a Best's policyholder rating of A- or better; and
c. Carries at least a Class VIII financial rating; or
d. Is a company mutually agreed upon by the City and Consulting Engineer/Architect.
Industry Ratings. The Owner will only accept coverage from an insurance carrier who offers proof that it:
a) Is licensed to do business in the State of Kansas;
b) Carries a Best's policyholder rating of B+ or better; and
c) Carries at least a Class X financial rating. Is a company mutually agreed upon by the Owner and Design/Builder.
Industry Ratings. The City will only accept coverage from an insurance carrier who offers proof that it:
a) Is licensed to do business in the State of Kansas;
b) Carries a Best's policyholder rating of B+ or better; and
c) Carries at least a Class X financial rating.

Certification of professional liability insurance shall be provided on a separate form provided by the Contractor's insurance carrier. Unless otherwise specified or waived, the City shall be shown as an additional insured on all general and automobile liability policies of insurance.

2) a rating of A or better; and
3) Carries at least a Class X financial rating, or Certification of insurance coverage in items (1), (2) and (3) above shall be on one of the City's Standard Certificate of Insurance forms, copies of which are attached. Certification of professional liability insurance shall be provided on a separate form provided by the Consultant's insurance carrier. Unless otherwise specified, the City shall be shown as an additional insured on all applicable policies of insurance.
