Initial Measurement Period definition

Initial Measurement Period or “IMP” means the initial 12-month period during which a newly hired Employee’s work hours and applicable leave is measured to determine whether such Employee is eligible for coverage.
Initial Measurement Period means the period commencing on the Agreement Date through, and including, September 30, 2020.
Initial Measurement Period means the period beginning on the first day of the calendar month following the Employee's start date and ending 12 months later. The Employer shall measure the Employee's Hours of Service during the Initial Measurement Period as described in Paragraph B of this Appendix.

Examples of Initial Measurement Period in a sentence

  • Any other Employees, including but not limited to Seasonal Employees, who are not Regular Full-time Employees to the extent that such Employees average 30 hours of service per week over the employee’s applicable Initial Measurement Period (as defined in the Plan Eligibility Appendix adopted by the Employer).

  • If a new employee is reasonably expected to average at least 30 hours per week at the time of hire, the employee must automatically be treated as full-time and offered group health coverage within the new hire enrollment period.• Initial Measurement Period - a designated period of time of 12 months used to determine whether a newly-hired variable hour employee is full-time.

  • If the District cannot determine whether an employee is reasonably expected to work an average of at least one hundred thirty (130) hours of service per month, the District will measure the hours of service using an Initial Measurement Period.

  • Part 1 is a partial month beginning on date of hire and ending on the last day of the month, the day before the Initial Measurement Period begins (e.g. if employee starts working March 10, Part 1 of the Initial Administrative Period would be March 10 to March 31).


More Definitions of Initial Measurement Period

Initial Measurement Period means the twelve (12) consecutive month period starting with the first day of the employee’s employment.
