Response activity means evaluation, interim response activity, remedial action, demolition, providing an alternative water supply, or the taking of other actions necessary to protect the public health, safety, or welfare, or the environment or the natural resources. Response activity also includes health assessments or health effect studies carried out under the supervision, or with the approval of, the department of community health and enforcement actions related to any response activity.
Emergency Load Response Program means the program by which Curtailment Service Providers may be compensated by PJM for Demand Resources that will reduce load when dispatched by PJM during emergency conditions, and is described in Operating Agreement, Schedule 1, section 8 and the parallel provisions of Tariff, Attachment K-Appendix, section 8.
PQQ Response means the response submitted by the Supplier to the pre-qualification questionnaire issued by the Authority on 06/03/2012;
Response Action means the investigation, cleanup, removal, remediation, containment, control, abatement, monitoring of or any other response action to the presence of Regulated Substances or Contamination in, on, at, under or emanating from the Stadium Site, including the correction or abatement of any violation required pursuant to Environmental Laws or by a Governmental Authority.
Response Deadline means 60 days after the Administrator mails Notice to Class Members and Aggrieved Employees, and shall be the last date on which Class Members may: (a) fax, email, or mail Requests for Exclusion from the Settlement, or (b) fax, email, or mail his or her Objection to the Settlement. Class Members to whom Notice Packets are resent after having been returned undeliverable to the Administrator shall have an additional 14 calendar days beyond the Response Deadline has expired.
Past Response Costs means all costs, including, but not limited to, direct and indirect costs, that the United States paid at or in connection with the Site through [insert date of most recent cost summary], plus Interest on all such costs through such date.]
Direct response solicitation means a solicitation through a sponsoring or endorsing entity or individually solely through mails, telephone, the Internet or other mass communication media.
Remedial response means a measure to stop and correct prohibited conduct, prevent prohibited conduct from recurring, and protect, support, and intervene on behalf of a student who is the target or victim of prohibited conduct.
Explosives or munitions emergency response means all immediate response activities by an explosives and munitions emergency response specialist to control, mitigate, or eliminate the actual or potential threat encountered during an explosives or munitions emergency. An explosives or munitions emergency response may include in-place render-safe procedures, treatment or destruction of the explosives or munitions and/or transporting those items to another location to be rendered safe, treated, or destroyed. Any reasonable delay in the completion of an explosives or munitions emergency response caused by a necessary, unforeseen, or uncontrollable circumstance will not terminate the explosives or munitions emergency. Explosives and munitions emergency responses can occur on either public or private lands and are not limited to responses at RCRA facilities.
Emergency Response Agency is a governmental entity authorized to respond to requests from the public to meet emergencies.
Solicitation Response means Contractor’s full and complete response (including any Attachments and addenda) to the Solicitation, which is incorporated by reference for all purposes in its entirety.
Emergency Response Plan means the plan constituting the set of procedures developed by the Owner for dealing with an Incident which may impact on the Network or Connecting Infrastructure, including all actions to be taken to minimise or alleviate any threat or danger to any person or property:
Regulated Activities Order means the Financial Services and Markets Act (Regulated Activities) Order 2001;
Claims Objection Deadline means the deadline for objecting to a Claim against a Debtor, which shall be on the date that is the later of (a) 180 days after the Effective Date and (b) such other period of limitation as may be fixed by the Debtors or the Reorganized Debtors, as applicable, or by an order of the Court for objecting to such Claims.
Contingent Emergency Response Part means any activity or activities to be carried out under Part 4 of the Project to respond to an Eligible Crisis or Emergency.
Response Period has the meaning set forth in Section 9.6(a).
Economic Load Response Participant means a Member or Special Member that qualifies under Operating Agreement, Schedule 1, section 1.5A, and the parallel provisions of Tariff, Attachment K-Appendix, section 1.5A, to participate in the PJM Interchange Energy Market and/or Ancillary Services markets through reductions in demand.
Defects Notification Period means the period for notifying defects in the Works or a Section (as the case may be) under Sub-Clause 11.1 [Completion of Outstanding Work and Remedying Defects], which extends over 365 days except if otherwise stated in the SCC (with any extension under Sub-Clause 11.3 [Extension of Defects Notification Period]), calculated from the date on which the Works or Section is completed as certified under Sub-Clause 10.1[Taking Over of the Works and Sections].
Designated crisis responder means a mental health
Initial Response means the first contact by a Support Representative after the incident has been logged and a ticket generated. This may include an automated email response depending on when the incident is first communicated.
Remediation Period has the meaning specified in Section 8.2(a);
Flood-related erosion area management means the operation of an overall program of corrective and preventive measures for reducing flood-related erosion damage, including but not limited to emergency preparedness plans, flood-related erosion control works and floodplain management regulations.
Regulated Activity means any generation, treatment, storage, recycling, transportation, disposal or release of any Hazardous Substances.
Public transportation means that term as defined in section 10c of Act No. 51 of the Public Acts of 1951, being section 247.660c of the Michigan Compiled Laws.
Disaster Management Act means the Disaster Management Act, 2002 (Act No.57 of 2002)
Public transportation system means all facilities, conveyances and instrumentalities, whether publicly or privately owned, that are used in or for publicly available services for the transportation of persons or cargo.
