Lane Advancement definition

Lane Advancement. When advancing from one lane to another, a teacher shall move across the schedule to the appropriate lane of academic preparation, limited to two (2) lane changes per contract year unless the coursework results in the attainment of a Master’s, Ed.D., Ed.S., or Ph.D. degree.
Lane Advancement. Employees shall advance on the salary schedule as follows:
Lane Advancement. A teacher in the Career and Technical Education program who earns a Career and Technical Education license may submit proof of receipt of the license. Upon verification of obtaining the license, the teacher will be moved to the next lane on the salary schedule, if the teacher was responsible for paying the cost of the credits necessary for said license provided the movement does not place the teacher into the MA, EDS, or PhD lanes. In the alternative, a teacher in the Career and Technical Education program may request that the District pay the cost of college/university credits necessary to obtain a Career and Technical Education license, but may not use these credits for lane advancement. Submission of credits/license obtainment will be under the same dates and deadlines as under the “Lane Change” clause of this contract.

Related to Lane Advancement

  • Expense Advance means any payment of Expenses advanced to Indemnitee by the Company pursuant to Section 4 or Section 5 hereof.

  • Nonrecoverable Advance Any portion of an Advance previously made or proposed to be made by the Master Servicer that, in the good faith judgment of the Master Servicer, will not be ultimately recoverable by the Master Servicer from the related Mortgagor, related Liquidation Proceeds or otherwise.

  • L/C Advance means, with respect to each Lender, such Lender’s funding of its participation in any L/C Borrowing in accordance with its Applicable Percentage.

  • Servicing Advance shall have the meaning given thereto in the Lead Securitization Servicing Agreement.

  • Final Advance means an Advance made pursuant to Section 2.02(d).

  • Nonrecoverable P&I Advance Any P&I Advance previously made or proposed to be made in respect of a Mortgage Loan or REO Property that, in the good faith business judgment of the Servicer using Accepted Servicing Practices, will not or, in the case of a proposed P&I Advance, would not be ultimately recoverable from related Late Collections, Insurance Proceeds or Liquidation Proceeds on such Mortgage Loan or REO Property as provided herein.

  • P&I Advance means an advance made by a party to any Securitization Servicing Agreement in respect of a delinquent monthly debt service payment on the Note(s) securitized pursuant to such Securitization Servicing Agreement.

  • Property Advance means an advance made in respect of property protection expenses or expenses incurred to protect, preserve and enforce the security for the Mortgage Loan or to pay taxes and assessments or insurance premiums with respect to the Mortgaged Property.

  • Swingline Advance means an advance made by the Swingline Lender, if any, to the Borrower pursuant to Section 2.

  • Revolving Advance has the meaning given in Section 2.1.

  • Swingline Loan means a Loan made pursuant to Section 2.04.

  • SOFR Borrowing means, as to any Borrowing, the SOFR Loans comprising such Borrowing.

  • Term SOFR Rate Loan means a Loan made hereunder with respect to which the interest rate is calculated by reference to Term SOFR (other than a Loan for which clause (c) of the definition of Base Rate is used to determine Base Rate).

  • RFR Borrowing means, as to any Borrowing, the RFR Loans comprising such Borrowing.

  • Term SOFR Borrowing means a Borrowing comprised of Term SOFR Loans.

  • Provider Advance means a Downgrade Advance or a Non-Extension Advance.

  • Indemnification means an agreement of indemnity or a release from liability where the intent or effect is to shift or limit in any manner the potential liability of the person or firm for failure to adhere to applicable auditing or professional standards, whether or not resulting in part from knowing of other misrepresentations made by the insurer or its representatives.
